Privacy Policy for AFT Score Calculator
This privacy policy describes how AFT Score Calculator (“the app”), published by LNI, LLC (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it on iOS, iPadOS, or Android.
Summary
AFT Score Calculator does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All calculations and data stay on your device.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no login, and does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.
The app does not send any data to us or to any third party.
Information You Enter
To calculate your Army Fitness Test (AFT) score, you enter event results (such as deadlift weight, push-up reps, and event times) along with your category and age group. This information:
- Is used only to look up your score against the AFT scoring tables, entirely on your device.
- Is not transmitted anywhere.
- If you choose to save a result to the app’s Results History, that saved result is stored locally on your device only, and can be deleted at any time from within the app. Deleting the app also deletes all saved results.
Exporting and Importing Results
The app lets you export your saved results as a file and import them back later. These features only run when you start them:
- Export opens your device’s standard share sheet. You choose where the file goes (for example, Files, AirDrop, or email). Once you send it somewhere, that destination’s own privacy practices apply.
- Import opens your device’s standard file picker so you can select a previously exported file. The app reads only the file you choose, and only to restore saved results.
App Updates (Android only)
On Android, the app uses Google Play’s in-app update feature to check whether a newer version is available. This check is handled by Google Play on your device and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. The app itself sends no information about you. The iOS version does not perform this check; updates come through the App Store.
Third-Party Services
This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children’s Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in the future (for example, if a feature is added that changes how data is handled), this document will be updated and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change.
